Strikingly is a website builder for one-page websites and small business sites. To install Smartsupp on a Strikingly site, paste the Smartsupp chat code into the custom code field in your Strikingly site settings.
This guide is divided into the following sections:
Open the custom code section
Sign in to your Strikingly editor and open Settings → Analytics & SEO. Find the field for inserting custom HTML/code into the header.
Note: Custom code in the header is available only on Strikingly's paid plans. The free plan doesn't allow adding custom JavaScript — you'll need to upgrade to install Smartsupp.
Paste the Smartsupp code
Copy your Smartsupp chat code from the Smartsupp dashboard → Settings → Chat box → Chat code. Paste it into the custom code field in Strikingly and save your changes.
Verify the installation
Open your Strikingly site in a new browser tab and refresh the page. The Smartsupp chat widget should appear in the corner of your site. Then sign in to the Smartsupp dashboard to start chatting with visitors.
Tip: If the chat widget doesn't appear, clear your browser cache or open the site in an incognito window. Double-check that you saved the code in the correct field and that your Strikingly plan supports custom code. Still nothing? See Why don't I see the chat on my website?
