Jimdo is a website builder that lets you add custom code through its Head settings. This guide shows you how to add the Smartsupp chat widget to your Jimdo website in just a few steps.
We've broken the guide into the following sections:
Copy the Smartsupp code
Find your unique Smartsupp chat code in the dashboard under Settings > Chatbox > Installation > Insert code. Copy the entire code snippet.
Paste the code into Jimdo
Log in to your Jimdo account and open your website editor. Navigate to Settings > Head and paste the Smartsupp code into the Head field.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Verify the installation
Open your Jimdo website in a new browser tab and refresh the page. The Smartsupp chat widget should now be visible in the corner of your site.
Tip: If you don't see the chat widget, try clearing your browser cache or opening your site in an incognito window. Also make sure you saved the changes in Jimdo's Head settings.
