Instapage is a landing page builder used by marketers to create high-converting campaign pages. To install Smartsupp on an Instapage page, paste the Smartsupp chat code into the page's JavaScript / HTML section in the page settings.
This guide is divided into the following sections:
Open your page in Instapage
Sign in to your Instapage account and open the landing page where you want to add the Smartsupp chat widget. Repeat this process for each landing page that should display the chat.
Open page settings
In the Instapage editor, open the page settings and find the JavaScript / HTML (or Tracking codes) section. This is where you'll paste the Smartsupp tracking code so it loads on the page.
Paste the Smartsupp code
Copy your Smartsupp chat code from the Smartsupp dashboard → Settings → Chat box → Chat code. Paste it into the Head (or Body) section in Instapage and save your changes.
Note: Instapage settings are page-specific — the chat code only loads on the page where you added it. To show Smartsupp on multiple landing pages, repeat the steps above for each page.
Verify the installation
Publish (or update) your Instapage landing page and open it in a new browser tab. The Smartsupp chat widget should appear in the corner of your page. Then sign in to the Smartsupp dashboard to start chatting with visitors.
Tip: If the chat widget doesn't appear, clear your browser cache or open the page in incognito mode. Make sure the Instapage page is published and that the code is pasted in the right field. Still nothing? See Why don't I see the chat on my website?
