WiX is a popular global website builder. To install Smartsupp on a WiX site, paste your Smartsupp chat code into the Custom Code section in your WiX site settings.
This guide is divided into the following sections:
Open the Custom Code section
Sign in to your WiX account, open your site dashboard, and go to Settings → Custom Code. Click + Add Custom Code to create a new code snippet.
Requirements: Smartsupp can only be used on WiX sites with a paid plan and a connected custom domain. The free WiX plan doesn't allow custom code.
Paste the Smartsupp code
Copy your Smartsupp chat code from the Smartsupp dashboard → Settings → Chat box → Chat code. In the WiX Add Custom Code dialog, paste the code, set Add Code to Pages to All pages, set Place Code in to Head, give the snippet a name (e.g. Smartsupp), and click Apply.

Verify the installation
Open your live WiX site (using your connected custom domain) in a new browser tab and refresh the page. The Smartsupp chat widget should appear in the corner of your site. Then sign in to the Smartsupp dashboard to start chatting with visitors.
Tip: If the chat widget doesn't appear, clear your browser cache or open the site in an incognito window. Custom code only loads on your live published site (not on the *.wixsite.com preview URL), so make sure you're testing on your connected domain. Still nothing?
