How to create a Smartsupp account?


Do you want to start your journey with Smartsupp but don’t know how? In the article below, we explain how to create a Smartsupp account. You will also learn about the first steps after registration.


How to create a Smartsupp account?

On many spots on our website, you will find blue "Sign-up for Free" buttons. Find one and click on it.
You will be redirected to the registration page, where you need to provide your email address, which will become the registration address* for the account, create a password and confirm it. After registering, you will be redirected directly to your account.

If you want to reach out to Customer Support, your registration email address will be essential to identify your account.

 


Trial

After completing the registration, a 14-day Trial period will begin. During this time, you have access to all features offered by Smartsupp and can test them as much as you like. Before the Trial period ends, a bar will appear at the top of your dashboard informing you of the upcoming end date. To continue using Smartsupp without interruption, go to the Billing tab and choose either one of our paid packages or the free version of our app.


Onboarding

Upon accessing your account, you will go through a few simple configuration steps. Thanks to them, your Smartsupp account will be set according to your needs. You will also learn its basic features and settings.

As a first step, you will decide whether to assist your customers via live chat or automate support and sales using AI. Depending on your choice, you will be redirected to configure your live chat or create your AI assistant. In each case, you will be asked to create a welcome message. The welcome message will be published and triggered on your website. You can disable it at any time in the "Basic Auto Messages" section under the "Auto Messages" tab.
