Getting started with Mira AI

Do I need to know how to code to set up Mira AI?

No coding skills or technical wizardry are needed. Mira AI is a simple plug-and-play solution — it takes just 5 minutes to integrate with your store app and go live.

Where does Mira AI learn information from?

Mira AI gathers information either by scraping the website URL you provided, or from the URL of your product feed. This is how it learns about the products you offer and provides curated shopping guidance and recommendations.

What is web scraping in Mira AI?

Web scraping is a process where a program automatically extracts data from a web page. Mira AI uses scraping to gather information about your business — terms of service, refund policy, additional services, blogs, articles, etc. You can enter up to 10 individual web pages for Mira AI to learn from. This non-product content helps Mira answer questions that aren't about specific products or recommendations.

Where can I find the product feed?

Every e-commerce platform offers either an integrated solution or extensions for exporting product feeds. See How to export product feeds (linked in What's next?) for step-by-step instructions for the most popular platforms.

Can Mira AI learn from conversations?

Mira AI does not currently learn from conversations directly — but you can train Mira using custom Q&A pairs to extend its knowledge base. See How to start training Mira AI in What's next?


Conversations & live chat handover

What are Mira AI's conversation limits?

Mira AI starts with 100 conversations per month. You can increase that limit anytime by upgrading your add-on or adjusting your plan in the Billing section of your Smartsupp Dashboard.

Can visitors switch from Mira AI to live chat?

Yes — all plans support live chat handover. When your live chat is online, Mira AI can transfer customers to a human agent. The visitor is first asked for their name, email, and reason for human assistance; then your team is notified. Live chat handover only works during the business hours you set in your Smartsupp settings.

Where can I see customer conversations with Mira AI?

Conversations fully handled by Mira AI appear in the Resolved section → Mira AI tab after the visitor leaves the website. Conversations handed over to an agent appear in the Open section → All tab immediately after the handover.

What if Mira AI can't answer and I can't go live?

Mira AI can create tickets — either as a chat record in Smartsupp or as an email with the conversation transcript and visitor contact details, sent to your preferred email address. This lets you reply at your convenience using the support tool of your choice.

Does Mira AI support languages other than English?

Yes. Mira AI handles major European languages including Spanish, French, German, Italian, Czech and more. It uses natural language processing to understand and respond to visitor queries in their language — ideal for multilingual audiences.

Does Mira AI integrate with support tools?

Yes — via email ticket submission. Mira AI's email handover feature can create tickets in support tools like Freshdesk or Zendesk effortlessly.

Does Mira AI send welcome or offline messages?

Mira AI itself responds based on the sources you provide and does not send offline messages by default. To greet visitors automatically, set up the AI Welcome Message (linked in What's next?). For offline messages, use the classic Automatic Messages feature (also linked in What's next?).

What happens when I run out of Mira AI conversations?

Upgrade your conversation limit anytime while your subscription is active. Additional conversations can be purchased in the Billing section of your Smartsupp dashboard. The amount charged is calculated based on the time until your next renewal.


Pricing & trial

What is the pricing model for Mira AI?

Mira AI is sold as an add-on with scalable pricing based on the number of conversations. A conversation is defined as an interaction where a visitor asks a question and Mira responds. The per-conversation price is the same regardless of the Smartsupp package you have.

Can I test Mira AI during the trial?

Yes — you have access to Mira AI during the trial period, limited to a certain number of conversations. Once that limit is reached, you'll be offered a scalable add-on where you can prepay for additional conversation batches to keep using Mira AI.

What are the trial benefits and limits?

Risk-free testing: explore Mira AI's features with no financial commitment. Real-world evaluation: use real interactions on your website to decide if Mira is the right fit. Included test conversations: a predefined number of AI conversations is included; if you need more before deciding, you can upgrade the add-on at any time.

Important: Mira AI is sold as a separate add-on and is not part of the EXPERT package (Legacy: PRO). EXPERT includes live chat and standard chatbots, but Mira AI functionality requires an additional subscription.
