Textpattern is a free, open-source content management system. To install Smartsupp on a Textpattern site, paste the Smartsupp chat code into your site's template (typically the head form) so it loads on every page.
This guide is divided into the following sections:
Open the template editor
Sign in to your Textpattern admin and go to Presentation → Forms. Open the head form (or another form that's loaded on every page of your site, such as the main page template). This is where you'll paste the Smartsupp chat code so it loads on every page.
Paste the Smartsupp code
Copy your Smartsupp chat code from the Smartsupp dashboard → Settings → Chat box → Chat code. Paste it into the head form just before the closing </head> tag and save your changes.

Verify the installation
Open your Textpattern site in a new browser tab and refresh the page. The Smartsupp chat widget should appear in the corner of your site. Then sign in to the Smartsupp dashboard to start chatting with visitors.
Tip: If the chat widget doesn't appear, clear your browser cache or open the site in an incognito window. Double-check that you saved the code in a form that's actually included in your page template. Still nothing? See Why don't I see the chat on my website?
