inPage is a Czech-Slovak website builder for small businesses. inPage doesn't have a dedicated header/footer code field, so you install Smartsupp by creating a hidden HTML page that holds the chat code, and then configuring its position to load on every page of your site.
This guide is split into the following sections:
Add a new page
Log in to your inPage admin and add a new page. This page will not be visible on your site — it serves as a "container" for the Smartsupp chat code.
Configure page settings
Set up the new page so it acts as a hidden code container:
Turn the page OFF (uncheck the visibility/active toggle) — you don't want it shown on your website.
Give the page a clear, recognizable name (for example "Smartsupp script") so you can find it later.
Set the editor type to HTML.
Click Save.
Paste the Smartsupp code
Open your new hidden page for editing and paste your Smartsupp chat code into the HTML editor. You'll find the code in Smartsupp dashboard → Settings → Chat box → Chat code. Save the page when you're done.
Set the code position
Configure where the script should run on your site. Choose the option that loads the script on every page of your website — the chat widget needs to be available on all pages where you want visitors to be able to open it.
Verify the installation
Open your inPage website in a new browser tab and refresh the page. The Smartsupp chat widget should appear in the corner of your site. Then log in to the Smartsupp dashboard to start chatting with visitors.
