Email notifications for missed conversations, offline messages and new contacts

Set up Smartsupp's email notifications to never miss conversations, offline messages or new contacts.

If a customer writes to you via live chat while you were offline, you can set a notification to be sent to your email. You can also set to receive an email notification for missed conversations. It will be sent while you are online, but your customer left your website before you were able to reply.

When activated, email notifications for offline messages and missed conversations are sent to all the email addresses of active agents on the account by default.

Note: As the email integration is already available in the new version of Smartsupp, offline messages, missed conversations are now always sent to the agent's email. Every agent can change their email of destination in their Profile here. The new destination email will also be the login email to Smartsupp.

Additionally, you can enable Email notifications for new contacts, which will notify you as soon as a new contact is created via leadgen chatbot or contact form. This feature ensures you are promptly informed of potential new leads or inquiries.
