Can't get into your Smartsupp dashboard? This guide covers the quick checks worth trying first, how the password reset works, what's different when you sign in with Google or Apple, and how login works in the mobile apps.
We've split this article into a few sections:
Quick checks first
First, make sure you're logging in with the email address you registered with — and if you created your account with Google or Apple, use that same sign-in button (more on that below).
Then try the quick fixes from our Troubleshooting: Best practices guide: clear cookies for app.smartsupp.com, open an incognito/private window, temporarily disable browser extensions (ad blockers, privacy tools, VPNs), or switch to another supported browser.
Reset your password
On the login page, click Forgot password? and we'll send a reset link to your registration email. The link has a few safety rules:
It's valid for 1 hour after you request it.
It works only once.
If you request several links, only the newest one is valid.
Open it on the same device and network where you requested it — switching networks or using a VPN can invalidate the link.
⚠️ Reset email didn't arrive? Check your spam folder and make sure your mailbox isn't full. Still nothing? Contact our support team and we'll help you regain access.
Signing in with Google or Apple
If you created your account with Google or Apple sign-in, log in with that same provider button. An account registered with Google can't be used to sign in via Apple, even with the same email address.
Google and Apple accounts have no password by default. To add a classic email + password login, use Forgot password? on the login page and set one.
A password comes in handy where provider sign-in isn't available — for example when logging in to the WordPress or PrestaShop plugin, where Google sign-in doesn't work.
Changing your email in Profile: with Google/Apple sign-in your login stays the same (only notifications move to the new address); with email + password login the new address also becomes your login email (see Email notifications).
Logging in to the mobile apps
The mobile apps (Smartsupp for Android, Smartsupp for iOS) use the same login credentials as the web dashboard. If the app is giving you trouble: update it to the latest version — and if that doesn't help, uninstall the app, restart your phone, and install it again.
