Shoprenter is a Hungarian e-commerce platform with a built-in Smartsupp app available in the Applications section. To install Smartsupp on a Shoprenter store, install the Smartsupp app from your admin or paste the chat code manually as a fallback.
This guide is divided into the following sections:
Install via the Smartsupp app
Sign in to your Shoprenter admin and open Applications → Installation. Find Smartsupp in the list and click Install.
When prompted, choose Create a free account if you don't have a Smartsupp account yet, or Connect existing account if you already have one.
After connecting, click Go to Smartsupp to open the Smartsupp dashboard and continue setting up your chat box.
Install manually (alternative)
If the Shoprenter app doesn't work for you, paste the Smartsupp chat code manually. Open Settings → Tracking codes (or the custom HTML/scripts field in your Shoprenter admin) and paste your Smartsupp chat code there. You can find your code in the Smartsupp dashboard → Settings → Chat box → Chat code.
Verify the installation
Open your Shoprenter store in a new browser tab and refresh the page. The Smartsupp chat widget should appear in the corner of your site. Then sign in to the Smartsupp dashboard to start chatting with visitors.
Tip: If the chat widget doesn't appear, clear your browser cache or open the site in an incognito window. Double-check that the Smartsupp app is installed or that the chat code is saved in the correct field. Still nothing? See Why don't I see the chat on my website?
